Peshawar High Court (PHC) on Tuesday removed two judicial officers from their posts over graft and abuse of power charges.

An official notification has been issued in this regard.

According to the notification, civil judge Tayyab Ali and additional session judge Nasir Kamal were sacked over their involvement in abuse of powers and embezzlement charges.

Both judges were sacked after a report was submitted by an inquiry commission against them.

The inquiry committee which was formed by PHC to probe the complaints against the two judges recommended strict action against them.
