President Pakistan Muslim League N and Chief Minister Punjab Shehbaz Sharif said that Nawaz Sharif was his leaders and will be his leader.
Addressing workers convention in Peshawar, he criticized PTI Chief Imran Khan and said that he has destroyed the Peshawar city because of wrong policies.
He said that the blood of APS martyrs will not be wasted.
Shehbaz reminisced about his days in Peshawar and said he is visiting the city after a long time.
“Peshawar is my home,” he said.
Senior provincial party leaders, including Amir Muqam and Murtaza Javed Abbasi are present at the event, being held on Shami Road.
Earlier, President Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz Shehbaz Sharif reached Peshawar on a day visit. He was welcomed by party leaders and workers.
It is Shehbaz Sharif’s first visit after being sworn in as the President of PML-N.
During the visit, he will also meet party leaders of KP in connection with the upcoming general elections.
Chief Minister Punjab, Shehbaz Sharif will also meet Governor KP Iqbal Zafar Jhagra and former federal minister Ghulam Ahmed Bilour during his visit to Peshawar.
