Opposition Leader Khursheed Shah's helicopter had to make an emergency landing in Balakot on Saturday evening due to bad weather conditions, all on-board remained safe.
PPP leaders Sherry Rehman, Faisal Karim Kundi, Nayyar Bukhari and Shah himself were travelling to Kaghan after the PPP's political gathering in Mansehra.
"Heli caught in a storm on way to Kaghan ... But locals' love makes up for it!" Senator Sherry Rehman posted on Twitter, with a picture of Kundi and herself surrounded by locals.

The leaders then took taxis to travel to a local hotel in Balakot, where they stayed for a short while before heading to their destination by road.

Earlier, the PPP leaders had attended a party gathering in Mansehra in which party chairman Bilawal Bhutto had lashed out at both PTI and PML-N. He accused the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa government and PTI chief Imran Khan of being involved in widespread corruption in the province.
The PPP's rally in Mansehra was a part of the party's mass contact campaign ahead of the 2018 general elections.
