    In their fresh act of state terrorism in occupied Kashmir, Indian troops martyred one youth on Eid-ul-Azha day in Kulgam district today.

    According to Kashmir Media Service, the youth, identified as Ishfaq Ahmad Paddar, was martyred by Indian forces of Rashtriya Rifles and Special Operations Group during a crackdown operation in the area.

    Dozens of people were injured after Indian police used brute force and fired pellets on pro-freedom protesters in Srinagar, Bandipore, Kulgam, Shopian, and other areas.

    The Indian forces also fired pellets and bullets on worshippers at Eidgah in Srinagar, Eidgah Achahipora and Eidgah Janglat Mandi.

    Meanwhile, the authorities illegally detained top resistance leadership including 88-year-old APHC Chairman Syed Ali Gilani, Mirwaiz Umar Farooq, Yasin Malik, among others, in houses and jails to prevent them from offering Eid prayers on the festival of Eid-ul-Azha.
