Three people, including a young girl, were killed in the Nakyal and Tatta Pani sectors along the Line of Control (LoC) on Friday when Indian troops opened fire in the area.
Six people were also injured in the shelling by Indian troops in the villages along the LoC.
“Nakyal and Tatta Pani sectors came under fire on Friday, with Indian troops targetted civilian populations without any provocation,” said officials while speaking to media persons.
The deceased were identified as Saima, 25, Aamna,, 7, and Abdul Latif, 50.
