  • PIA starts new service for Northern areas

    Pakistan International Airline (PIA) has on Thursday started a new service for the Northern areas. The airbus showing beautiful landscapes of the Northern areas of Pakistan will havce a daily flight for Skardu.

    According to the details, a large PIA plane, having capacity to carry 125 passengers, will have a daily flight for Skardu. Sky-covering mountains and the beautiful valleys between them look like heaven from the plane.

    Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif’s advisor for aviation Shujat Azeem said that the service will not only help boost tourism but will also provide a great facility to the local residents. Previously, there used to be only three flights a week and people used to have problems due to bad weather, he said, but now they will be relieved of the fatigue.

    Air-hostesses also seemed happy, saying that they love to see the striking scenes of the Northern areas. The airbus will not only help the residents of Skardu, Astore and Shigar Valley but will also facilitate the businessmen.
