    Federal government delegation led by Federal Minister for Planning Asad Umar will call on Muttahida Qaumi Movement Pakistan (MQM-P) leaders in Karachi to woo its leader Khalid Maqbool Siddique who had announced his resignation from his ministry yesterday.

    Soon after Muttahida Qaumi Movement-Pakistan (MQM-P) senior politician Khalid Maqbool Siddiqi announced his resignation as the Minister for Information Technology and Telecommunication over certain reservations with the ruling Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf’s (PTI) government has decided to remove the reservations of the MQM-P.

    Sindh Governor Imran Ismail has telephoned disgruntled Muttahida Qaumi Movement Pakistan (MQM-P) convener Dr Khalid Maqbool Siddiqui over the directives of Prime Minister Imran Khan.

    The premier said that the MQM-P demands are just and committed that the government will fulfill all the promises made with the party.

    The PM said that the MQM-P is the best and the most trustable ally of the government adding that Karachi is the economic hub of the country and it can’t be ignored.
