Light rain and snowfall in different parts of Punjab, Sindh Balochistan, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and Gilgit Baltistan during next 24 Hours.
The light drizzle in Taj Bagh, Canal Road, Shalimar, Bhatti Gate, Sanda, Anarkali, Garhi Shahu, Abbot Road, Mall Road and other parts of the city dropped the temperature further down.
The rain also brought the level of smog in Lahore considerably down, giving residents of the city much needed respite from the toxic pollution that was making breathing difficult.
Parts of the city received light rain or drizzle on Wednesday night and Thursday morning under the influence of a westerly disturbance.
The weather in Karachi and some other districts of Sindh will remain under the influence of a weather system today, which had entered in the region from Iran.
The westerly disturbance is expected to remain in Karachi until the night today with expected drizzle or light rain in the city under its influence.
According to Pakistan Meteorological Department, a westerly wave located over Iran and its adjoining areas, is likely to approach western parts of the country and is expected to grip most parts of the country on Thursday.
Under the influence of this weather system more rain and snowfall are also expected in different cities of Punjab, Sindh Balochistan and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa during next 24 Hours.
