Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) on Thursday issued a notice to Prime Minister Imran Khan for visiting constituency NA-205 during his stay in Ghotki.
PM Imran Khan on Wednesday paid a visit to the bereaved family of deceased former Federal Minister for Narcotics Control Ali Mohammad Khan Mahar in Ghotki.
Premier was accompanied by Sindh Governor Imran Ismail and Federal Ministers Fehmida Mirza Muhammad Mian Soomro and MNA Ghaus Bakhsh Mahar.
In its notice, ECP stated that visiting constituency after issuance of election schedule is “violation of the code of conduct”.
ECP has asked Premier to submit a response within a week.
