    The country graft-buster body’s executive board on Wednesday approved 12 more inquiries including against speaker Sindh Assembly, Agha Siraj Durrani.

    According to the declaration issued after the executive board meeting of National Accountability Bureau (NAB) was held at its headquarter in Islamabad presided over by the Chairman justice (retd) Javed Iqbal while other officials of the body including deputy chairman NAB also attended the moot.

    The executive board meeting approved to file reference against speaker Sindh Assembly Agha Siraj Durrani on charges of misuse of power and making illegal assets which cost national exchequer loss of Rs 1.60 billion.

    As per the declaration, the board also approved the filing of reference against senator Robina Khalid, Mazhar Ul Islam.

    The twelve inquires also included against Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam leader and former chief minister KP Akram Durrani, Sher Azam and Ghulam Nizamani.

    An inquiry also approved against former director education FATA on an allegation of fake recruitments of teachers.

    Talking at the occasion, Chairman NAB Justice (retd) Javed Iqbal said that its priority of the body that mega corruptions cases reached to its logical end adding that all the cases are leading to end as per the law.
