    Chief Justice of Pakistan Justice Asif Saeed Khosa on Saturday said that it is the state’s responsibility to provide cheap and immediate justice but unfortunately it is not included in parliament’s priorities.

    As per details, addressing a conference in Islamabad CJP Justice Khosa said that it will easy to provide justice if we describe a time period of the duration of every case. We need to overcome the hurdles lie between the provision of justice.

    “It is our responsibility to provide cheap and immediate justice to the citizens,” said CJP.

    CJP also applauded the judges of the country for their hard work and said that SC concluded as much as 26,000 cases within the past year which is a record.

    “Police not playing its part in civil cases,” he added.

    “The inefficiency of police is a major reason for the delay in justice,” he concluded.
