President Dr. Arif Alvi has urged the need for collective efforts of provincial governments and NGOs to eradicate of fatal diseases.
He said this during a detailed briefing given to him by National Hearts Association in Islamabad on Thursday.
President said we can avoid chronic diseases by adopting precautionary measures and good habits.
He said it is very necessary to increase and improve working capabilities of Lady Health Workers across the country.
He also urged media to highlight health issues among the people through awareness campaigns.
