Justice Asif Saeed Khan Khosa has been appointed as new Chief Justice of Pakistan with effect from January 18.
President Dr Arif Alvi signed the summary forwarded by the Ministry of Law appointing the honorable judge to the top slot.
Justice Asif Saeed Khosa will take oath as the new CJP on January 18. The oath-taking ceremony of Justice Asif Saeed Khan Khosa would be held at the Aiwan-e-Sadr.
Meanwhile, CJP Mian Saqib Nisar will retire from his services on January 17.
