Minister of State for Interior Shehryar Afridi says the nation is proud of its security forces and law enforcing agencies which rendered matchless sacrifices for the sake of their motherland.
He was addressing the passing out of 17th batch of lower course and 32nd batch of basic recruit course at Police Lines in Islamabad on Wednesday.
Shehryar Afridi said there is no alternate to the services and sacrifices of our security forces and law enforcement agencies.
He expressed the commitment to make Islamabad police a model police by providing them respect and state-of-the-art facilities.
The Minister of State for Interior said the government will purge of drug and land mafia from the country.
He said land of 357 billion rupees has been retrieved from the illegal occupation of the land mafia during grand operation conducted by the Islamabad police.
He said the menace of drugs will also be eradicated from the country to secure the bright future of our young generations.
He said de-weaponisation is our objective and there will be no any compromise in this regard.
He said the elements attempting to destabilize our country, will never succeed in their nefarious designs.
He said, in new Pakistan, there is rule of law and no one can challenge it.
