The Capital Development Authority’s (CDA) Deputy Director Ayaz Khan on Friday issued a video message saying he was safe and visiting his family in Dera Ismail Khan.

The video message comes hours after reports emerged that the CDA deputy director was missing from Islamabad since Thursday when he left his office at 2:30pm.

Ayaz Khan while thanking the authorities for the concern said in the video message, “I am with my family in DI Khan and am safe and sound. I had lost my mobile.”

It is pertinent here to mention that police officials said that Ayaz Khan visited CDA office on Thursday and last time he contacted was with his wife.

Officer’s wife told that he left office at 04:00pm and he was on his way to his home in G13, police added.

The officers had launched an investigation after registering the missing report. Unfortunately, the CCTV cameras installed in Melody Market were out of order, police informed.

The missing officer was appointed at Khanpur Dam for services.
