To run the National Assembly session became impractical for Speaker Asad Qaisar today (Monday) as Pandemonium broke out in the house after members of treasury and opposition benches nearly got into a fight on the floor of the National Assembly.

According to details, Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) MNA Abdul Majeed Khan has repeatedly wrangled with opposition members who criticized government for reaching agreement with TLP protesters.

First he entangled with Pakistan Muslim League (PML-N) leader and former interior minister Ahsan Iqbal then ran toward former minister for fight, however, PTI s Malik Aamir Dogar calmed him down and brought him back to his seat.

During the speech of Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) Shazia Marri, when she criticized PTI-led government for reaching agreement with TLP protesters, Abdul Majeed stood up again and exchanged hash words with her. Abdul Majeed also passed derogatory remarks which infuriated members of the opposition benches.

PPP s Rafiullah Shah also lost his temper and charged towards Abdul Majeed Khan and nearly got into a fight on the floor of the National Assembly but he was stopped by a number of lawmakers.

Speaker Asad Qaisar called the sergeants-at-arms to expel both members from the House. However, after failing to control the situation, he adjourned the sitting till Tuesday morning.
