The federal government on Tuesday announced an end to political censorship on Pakistan Television (PTV).
In a tweet, Information Minister Fawad Chaudhry said that clear instructions have been issued to PTV and Radio Pakistan for complete editorial independence.

He said as per vision of Prime Minister Imran Khan, political censorship on state-run-media has now been ended.
The Minister said that drastic changes will be visible in Information Department during coming three months.
