Shakeel Awan, who filed disqualification plea against Sheikh Rasheed said on Wednesday that SC declared Sheikh Rasheed eligible to contest elections, despite his confession of committing a mistake.
Talking to the newsmen outside SC after the verdict, Shakeel Awan said it’s difficult to get justice in Pakistan, adding that case against Sheikh Rasheed’s disqualification took 18 months in the election tribunal, which had to give the verdict within 4 months.
Shakeel Awan said that the SC’s Verdict proved that getting justice in Pakistan is getting difficult, but we will keep knocking the doors of courts for justice.
