Chinese experts have said that China-Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC) has developed faster than expected.
In an interview with Global Times a senior research fellow at the Chongyang Institute for Financial Studies at the Renmin University of China, Zhou Rong said the future of the CPEC project depends upon political stability in Pakistan.
Zhou said besides motorways other projects like power plants have already started benefiting people in Pakistan.
Director of the Institute of International Affairs at the Renmin University, Wang Yiwei noted that despite challenges CPEC can be an example of regional growth and stability.
