The Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) has decided to ask Prime Minister Abbasi to explain his position over the controversial statement of former prime minister Nawaz Sharif regarding Mumbai attack that sparked the outrage across the country.
The decision was taken in party’s high ups meeting presided over jointly by chairman Bilawal Bhutto and co-chairman Asif Ali Zardari in Karachi.
The meeting has also decided to ask the prime minister to clear his position regarding recently held National Security Council (NSC) meeting.“PM Abbasi should apprise the parliament over his stance he presented in NSC meeting, however, PPP will further consult other political parties as well before moving ahead.
Senior party leaders Sherry Rehman, Nisar Khuro, Khursheed Shah and others attended the meeting.
