Six cars in Chief Justice of Pakistan (CJP), Saqib Nisar’s procession collided amongst themselves near Pakwal Chowk while going to Balakot.

The incident occurred when the driver of one of the involved cars suddenly pulled the brakes of his car, which subsequently led to the other cars colliding.

The cars involved in the incident include the CJP’s protocol car, a vehicle of the Rangers, and some media personnel.

No bodily harm occurred in the incident.

The CJP was on his way to Balakot to inspect the conditions of those affected by the 2005 earthquake.

A three member bench of the Supreme Court had earlier heard a hearing on the funds for those affected by the earthquake.

During the hearing, the CJP had vowed to visit those affected by the earthquake in Balakot.
