    Seven Pakistani Peacekeepers Honoured With UN Medals Seven Pakistani Peacekeepers Honoured With UN Medals

    The United Nations has honoured with medals seven Pakistanis, who lost their lives while serving in peacekeeping operations.

    According to ISPR, the ceremony was held in UN Headquarters at New York today.

    Secretary-General António Guterres was also attended the meeting. He paid rich tribute to the peacekeeping personals for their efforts in establishing peace across the world.

    The martyred honoured are:

    Niak Qaisar Abbas Muneska (Republic of Central Africa), spoy Yasir Abbas Unimade (Darfur), spoy Muhammad Ishtiaq Abbasi Monsko (Congo), Havaldar Zeeshan Ahmed Monsko (Congo), spoy Hazrat Bilal Muneska (Republic of Central Africa), Naik Abdul Ghafoor Muneska (Republic of Central Africa) and Naik Atta-ur-Rehman Monska (Republic of Central Africa).

    The total 156 Pakistani soldiers have been laid down their lives in UN peacekeeping mission so far.
