Former Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif on Wednesday said that he has not yet discussed the meeting of the prime minister and the chief justice of Pakistan with Shahid Khaqan Abbasi and would inform when he would met him.

Talking to media at the accountability court, he said that he was not allowed to meet his ailing wife despite doctors recommendations that my presence for the consultations was necessary.

To a query that the judge had said that Sharif had five days including weekend to visit his ailing wife without taking exemption from the proceedings, the former prime minister said that it takes two days while travelling to and from London and the doctors do not hold consultation on weekends.

To a query on Balochistan political changes, he said that serious questions are raised over the changes that had occurred in Balochistan during the past two to three months. ” A suspicious person was elected as the chairman senate and it all happened due to these recent changes for which the Baluchistan government was replaced and the loyalties were bought in Senate polls,” he said.

Nawaz said that there is no space for the elections delay and they would not accept any doctrine of necessity at any cost.

He said that Imran Khan should inform as to whether his party members voted for the arrow (PPP election symbol) or not in the Senate polls. “I do not know any closed door discussions but what Asif Zardari is doing is shameful,” he said.

He said that the country was liberated from the British rule and then given in hands of martial law dictators. “The people are waiting for a long time on the decisions against them but the chief justice is checking quality of milk,” he said.
