    The accountability court (AC) will resume the hearing of a supplementary NAB reference, filed against former Finance Minister Ishaq Dar over assets beyond known income resources today.

    The reference against Ishaq Dar was filed by the National Accountability Bureau (NAB) in light of the Supreme Court’s July 28 verdict in the Panama Papers case. The AC judge Judge Mohammad Bashir will resume the hearing.Earlier on March 05, the AC had adjourned the hearing of Ishaq Dar Assets beyond known income resources case till March 12 and further said that the indictment in the case against the co accused would be made on next hearing.

    The proceedings that began after a break early morning due to appearance of former prime minister Nawaz Sharif in another case in the same court.
    Judge Muhammad Bashir was presiding over the proceedings of the case against Ishaq Dar. During the case on Monday morning, the National Bank of Pakistan President Muhammad Saeed appeared along with his lawyer Hashmat Habib Advocate but the case was adjourned till 12:00 noon due to appearance of former prime minister.The judge remarked during the hearing that the accused be provided with the copies of allegations against him so that indictment be made today to which the Saeed’s counsel said that time be granted to them to review the allegations as there is no evidence in indicting his client in these cases.
