The Foreign Office Spokesman on Wednesday said that a new foreign policy would be devised as per recommendations from National Security Committee aimed at strengthening the relationship with regional countries.
Addressing weekly briefing at Foreign Office, Dr Faisal said that although Pakistan has come into the grey list of FATF but there are no chances of coming on to the blacklist of FATF.
“All matters relating to FATF are performed by the finance ministry and FO could not comment on the issue,” he said.
He said that military activities in Afghanistan could not find a peaceful solution of the issue and it could only be resolved through bilateral talks among Afghan groups.He said that the FO would implement on the supreme court orders on the issue of Hussain Haqqani and provide best possible assistance in this regard.
Foreign Office Spokesperson Dr Mohammad Faisal said on Wednesday that ‘shamocracy’, and not ‘democracy’, is what prevails in India.
Addressing his weekly press briefing, the FO spokesperson said India’s ban on Pakistani artists reflects the country’s sick mentality.He added that India’s extremist policies have made culture hostage.
Talking about Indian atrocities in occupied Kashmir as well as attacks across the Line of Control (LoC), Dr Faisal called on the international community to play its role in resolving the Kashmir dispute.
He also narrated the recent summoning of the Indian deputy high commissioner over LoC violations, saying that India has violated the 2003 ceasefire agreement 400 times this year alone in cross-border firing incidents across the LoC and Working Boundary.
