Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) chairman Imran Khan has tied the knot again for third time with Bushra Maneka,
Reportedly, Mufti Saeed ministered the nuptial knot and the ceremony was attended by close friends of the lawmaker.
'Earlier, the party had rejected media reports pertaining to Khan’s third marriage.
In a statement on January 7, the party clarified that its chief had not tied the knot with a woman, whom he regarded as a spiritual leader, in secrecy, he had expressed his desire to marry her.
“To set the record straight, Mr Khan proposed marriage to Ms Bushra Maneka, but Ms Maneka asked for time to make a final decision after consulting her family, including her children,” said the statement.
“It is indeed sad to see this extremely private and sensitive matter be made the subject of an erroneous story leading to all manner of public conjecture.”
The statement further said if and when the marriage proposal is accepted by Ms Maneka, Mr Khan will make it public in a proper manner.
