With 2018 polls ahead, Muttahida Qaumi Movement Pakistan’s (MQMP) chief Farooq Sattar has accelerated efforts to bring disgruntled political leaders and workers back into the party.
He met indignant Abdul Rashid Godil as latter was politically inactive for quite a while. During huddle, querulous Godil lodged complain with Sattar that he was left alone during tough hours and that no party leader had bothered to meet him in the past two and a half years.
Godil urged Sattar to get rid of blandishers and focus on Karachi’s development. At the end of meeting, Godil did not give any clear timeframe to Sattar over his much-anticipated return to the party and mainstream politics.
