Imran Khan claimed on Monday that the Sharif family has been issuing threats to the National Accountability Bureau (NAB) as well as senior judiciary, stopping them from investigating the “their billions in corruption exposed”.

The Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Chairman wrote, “Sharifs after having their billions in corruption exposed have taken to issuing threats to NAB & the senior judiciary.”

He called it shameful for the ruling Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N). Imran Khan said his party will not accept such threats to the anti-graft body in the country and also, defended the senior judiciary. He accused the Sharif family of continuing such practices for the last three decades.

“This is absolutely shameful & unacceptable. People will not allow this Sharif dictatorship - this "fironiyat" that they have practiced for 3 decades to continue,” he tweeted.

The Punjab CM Shehbaz Sharif had today appeared before NAB in Ashiana Housing Scheme case. He said that he appeared before the bureau for supremacy of the law, adding that his summoning to NAB office showed nothing but ill-motives.
