    President Mamnoon Hussain says Pakistan is desirous of close cooperation in various fields including education and culture with Iraq and Holland.

    He said this while talking to the outgoing Iraqi ambassador Dr. Ali Al-Rehman and Pakistan's ambassador designate for Holland Shujaat Ali Rathor in separate meetings in Islamabad on Wednesday.

    While talking to the Iraqi ambassador, he said restoration of air links with Iraq is priority of Pakistan which will be beneficial for people of both the countries.

    He said Pakistan is striving to end extremism from the region and in this regard it has achieved historic successes.

    The outgoing Iraqi ambassador said his country is keenly interested in CPEC and has planned to work in different energy-related projects.

    Talking to ambassador designate for Holland, Mamnoon Hussain said the old trade relations between the two countries have helped in developing deep bilateral ties.
