    The 3rd Anniversary of the tragic terrorist attack on Army Public School (APS) Peshawar is being observed on Saturday.

    On this day in 2014, six terrorists had stormed the School and martyred one hundred and forty-seven students and teachers.

    The security forces promptly responded to the attack and killed all the terrorists.

    After this tragic incident, the government chalked out the National Action Plan to eliminate terrorism from the country.

    A special function is being arranged at Army Public School Peshawar on Saturday to mark the day.
    The Khyber Pakhtunkhwa government has constructed a memorial of APS martyrs in Peshawar, which will be inaugurated tomorrow.

    Earlier on Friday, the ceremony to remember martyrs of Army Public School Peshawar was held at Garrison University to mark the third anniversary of the incident.

    During the ceremony, teachers as well as male and female students of the University paid glowing tributes to the students martyred in the attack three years ago.

    The Vice Chancellor of Garrison University Major Gen (r) Obaid bin Zakaria laid down flower bouquets at Martyrs Monument.
    No eye remained dry when male and female students of the University presented a skit depicting the happenings of that horrific day on December 16, 2014 when barbaric terrorists barged into the APS Peshawar to play a bloodbath.

    The students said that every citizen of the beloved country stands united as one for the eradication of the menace of terrorism from the country. The people all across the country not only stand united as one for eradication of terrorism are are also ready to give any and all sacrifices to rid the country.
