    One  person died and four others were injured in an incident of firing outside an imambargah in the federal capital here on Wednesday evening.

    According to initial reports, two unknown gunmen, riding on a motorbike, opened fire on worshipers coming out of Babul-Ilm imambargah after Maghribain.

    The incident took place in the I-8 locality of the city, police said.

    Emergency services shifted the injured to PIMS hospital and police started an investigation into the incident.

    Allama Raja Nasir Abbas Jafri, leader of Majlis Wahdatul Muslimeen, expressed sorrow over the incident saying the Islamabad administration has failed in prevention of crime.

    He said they have foiled such wicked conspiracies in the past and will continue to do so.

    Allama Iftikhar Hussain Naqvi member, 'Council Of Islamic Ideology'  expressed sorrow over the incident.

    A spokesman for Tehreek-e-Nifaz-e-Fiqh- Jafaria (TNFJ) also denounced the incident maintaining there is no sectarian divide in the country.
