Kulsoom Nawaz, wife of former prime minister Nawaz Sharif, has been brought to a London hospital for her second chemotherapy session.
The former first lady is being treated for lymphoma, a cancer of lymph nodes, which she was diagnosed with. Her first chemotherapy session was held three weeks ago.
She has so far had three surgeries as part of her throat cancer treatment in London.
Former PM Nawaz Sharif, her sons Hasan and Hussain, are also accompanied her at the hospital.
A few days back, the former first lady was hospitalised once again after her condition worsened. She was back home from the hospital on Monday and recovering, her daughter, Maryam Nawaz, had tweeted.
Nawaz is presently in London to spend time with his wife. He had left for Jeddah from where he was to come to Pakistan۔
