  • Prime Minister Abbasi Arrives in Jeddah on Maiden Foreign Visit

    Prime Minister Shahid Khaqan Abbasi has arrived in Jeddah on his first visit of Saudi Arabia as premier. Prime Minister Abbasi and his delegation was accorded a warm welcome by Deputy Governor of Makkah Abdullah bin Bandar bin Abdul Aziz on arrival at Jeddah Airport.

    The Prime Minister is accompanied by Foreign Minister Khawaja Muhammad Asif and Minister of Finance Ishaq Dar. During the day-long visit, the Prime Minister will hold meeting with Vice Custodian of Harmain Sharifain and Crown Prince Prince Muhammad Bin Salman Al-Saud besides offering homage at the Roza e Rasool (S.A.W).

    Prime minister’s schedule include a meeting with Prince Muhammad bin Salman Al-Saud. A range of issues and matters related to bilateral relations would be reviewed. The two leaders will also discuss emerging regional and global geo-strategic situation and other matters of mutual interest.

    Prime Minister Abbasi’s visit signifies the warmth and fraternity that characterizes relations between the two major Islamic countries.
