Responding to a question‚ the Information Minister said the stance of the former Prime Minister Syed Yusuf Raza Gilani was the right one and the present decision in the case has been taken keeping in view the current situation. He said we should not struck up in the past and instead look towards the future. The Information Minister urged the media to dispel the impression of clash between the government and the judiciary. He said the elections are around the corner and creating such a negative impression on the media will not give a fair play to Pakistan Peoples Party in the elections. Talking to the media‚ Federal Minister Firdous Ashiq Awan said the government has pursued a constitutional course in the NRO implementation case. She said the apex court has also demonstrated flexibility while the government has also given a way forward in the case.
