    Minister for Information and Broadcasting Qamar Zaman Kaira said the government has given a way forward in the NRO implementation case to the satisfaction of court orders.

    He said we are moving in the right direction and we have full confidence in courts. He said the democratic government does not want any confrontation with the institutions and those desiring for such a situation have faced disappointment. Pakistan Peoples Party has contested its cases in the court rooms. He said during the hearing today‚ the Prime Minister informed the court that serious efforts are being made for the implementation of court orders. Responding to a question‚ the Information Minister said the stance of the former Prime Minister Syed Yusuf Raza Gilani was the right one and the present decision in the case has been taken keeping in view the current situation. He said we should not struck up in the past and instead look towards the future. The Information Minister urged the media to dispel the impression of clash between the government and the judiciary. He said the elections are around the corner and creating such a negative impression on the media will not give a fair play to Pakistan Peoples Party in the elections. Talking to the media‚ Federal Minister Firdous Ashiq Awan said the government has pursued a constitutional course in the NRO implementation case. She said the apex court has also demonstrated flexibility while the government has also given a way forward in the case.
