To pay homage and Salam to Shuhada-e-Karbal processions of eighth Muharram ul Haram were taken out in different parts of the country on Sunday.
Muharram processions and Majalis are being held to pay tribute to great sacrifices rendered by Hazrat Imam Hussain Razi-Allah Anhu and his companions in Karbala.
In Lahore, different processions and Majalis were also held. The eighth Muharram procession was taken out from Haveli Alif Shah, Dehli Gate in Lahore and culminated at Old Anarkali.
In Karachi, procession of 8th Muharram was taken out from Nishtar Park.
To pay tribute to Imam Hussain (RAA) and his companions of Karbala, mourning procession of eighth Muharram were also taken out in Gilgit Baltistan.
