QUETTA: A three-day anti-polio campaign will start tomorrow (October 15) in the province of Balochistan
During the campaign, over 2.2 million children will be given anti-polio drops.
According to the health department, 6095 mobile teams, 784 fixed teams, 73 border teams and 284 transit teams will be taking part in this three-day campaign, which will be supervised by 545 union council incharge personnel and 1228 area incharge personnel that will be deployed all across Balochistan province.
Anti-polio campaign will also be conducted in the districts of Naseerabad and Jafarabad, despite being severely hit by the floods.
Three cases have thus far been reported from Balochistan during the current year.
Several provincial secretaries will also oversee the anti-polio campaign in different districts and at the end of the campaign will submit their reports to the chief secretary, as directed.
