Interior Minister Rehman Malik has said Balochistan issue can only be resolved through political means and we want to take all Baloch leaders along in this regard.
Speaking in Islamabad on Suday‚ he categorically said there has been no military operation in the province.
He said we are serious in recovering the missing persons in the province.
Rehman Malik said if any Baloch leader prefers to involve certain political figures for talks. The government is also ready to request them in this regard.
He lauded the return of Akhtar Mengal and said we will welcome all Baloch leaders who want to come back and take part in mainstream politics.
The Minister said credit for strengthening democracy goes to President Asif Ali Zardari's policy of reconciliation besides steps taken by the PPP government and struggle of the party workers.
