    The national highway that links Punjab with Balochistan has been closed for 15 days due to landslide triggered by heavy rain.

     

    The Quetta Dera national highway was blocked due to land sliding at Rakhi Ghat point.

     

    National Highway Authority (NHA) officials have started the excavation work with the assistance of Chinese experts. The ofificals said that the highway will be opened for small cars in a week.

     

    Due to the closure of this highway, the supply of edible items has also been shut from Punjab and other parts to Balochistan.

     

    The locals have also started travelling on camels in areas where traffic is suspended.
