A team of the National Accountability Bureau (NAB) raided the residence of Balochistan Finance Secretary Mushtaq Raisani at 6 in the morning. Sensitive documents and cash worth Rs 603 million was recovered from his residence.
Sources indicate that the NAB team is still at Raisani’s residence. Three cash counting machines have been called by the team from the authorities to count the cash found at the residence of Balochistan s Finance Secretary.
Fake property documents worth millions were also recovered during the raid. Consficated currency is worth Rs 500 million and $ 200 million. Gold worth Rs 4 million and a bad full of importmnat documents have also been taken into custody.
Earlier, NAB also raided at Provincial Finance Department and arrested several officers inclduing Mushtaq Raisani. The officers protested and also chanted slogans against NAB.
