Patients faces problems due to the closure of public hospitals in Balochistan.
QUETTA: Despite the recovery of Dr Saeed Ahmed Khan, the doctors continued their strike on fiftieth consecutive day in all government-run hospitals of the province for the fulfillment of their demands.
The outdoor-patient departments (OPDs) and operations theatres remained closed in all public hospitals including Bolan Medical Complex hospital, Sandeman Provincial hospital, Fatima Jinnah hospital and others.
The Pakistan Medical Association (PMA) Balochistan chapter has vowed that doctors would continue their strike until FIR against them is withdrawn, their services are reinstated and the administration provides security to them.
Meanwhile, the government has passed a bill to sack protesting doctors.
