    Minister for National Health Services Abdul Qadir Patel says government is committed to set Drug Regulatory Authority of Pakistan on modern lines.

    He was speaking at the headquarters of Drug Regulatory Authority in Islamabad on Wednesday where he was briefed on performance, issues and challenges being faced by the organization.

    The Minister asked the authorities concerned to ease the process of import and export of medicine by contacting Pakistani consulates abroad. He reiterated to ensure merit in DRAP to promote transparency.

    He said the quality of medicines at the authority is being further improved to increase exports.

    Abdul Qadir Patel said the government will provide state-of-the-art facilities to the authority to being improvement in the quality of medicines and medical devices across the country.
