British-Pakistani singer Zayn Malik and model Gigi Hadid have reportedly called it quits once again.
After weeks of speculation, multiple sources told Us Weekly that the couple has broken up.
Reports had been doing the rounds claiming that the two were taking some time apart, and had been since early November.
Fans had also been questioning the relationship as Gigi and Zayn had been absent from each other's social media and did not share any holiday pictures either.
Sources, however, told Us Weekly that the two were not on break but had broken up.
“They’re done,” one source explained.
“They could get back together, but it’s over for now.”
A second source added that the 23-year-old model “tried hard to make it work,” but the former One Direction member, 25, has “a lot of his own issues that she couldn’t help him get through.”
“She cut herself off from all her friends every time they were together,” the source added.
“She focused all her time and energy on him, but it just got to be too much.”
Zayn has also unfollowed Gigi on Instagram.
Gigi and Zayn, who were first linked in November 2015, split for the first time in March after two years of dating.
They announced their breakup in lengthy statements on social media at the time.
Less than two months later, however, the pair were spotted together in New York City.
