A petition on Thursday, has been filed against renowned Pakistani singer Atif Aslam in Civil Lines police station, for refusing to hold national flag.
The plea stated that he sang all the Indian songs and danced on them instead of national ones during an Independence Day celebration held in New York City, USA.
The claimant also said that artist’s action has hurt sentiments of Pakistanis.
Moreover, the petitioner said that when he tried to give Atif Aslam a national flag during performance, he refused to hold which was insulting and disrespecting.
