Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) Omer Shahid told reporters that when they arrived at Annie’s apartment in Qasr-e-Zainab area of Karachi, police found Annie dead with some copies of burnt books.
SSP said Annie’s body was shifted to Jinnah Postgraduate Medical Centre (JPMC) where doctors confirmed she had died of suffocation.
Annie, a former model, started career into journalism and documentary production and has contributed to various leading media outlets.
