    Minister for Federal Education and Professional Training Shafqat Mahmood says the government is committed and striving to bring betterment in the standard of education at the provincial level.

    Addressing the ceremony of Pakistan summit in Islamabad on Friday, he said there are several challenges in the field of education.

    Expressing his pleasure, he said now the education system is getting improved in the country due to endeavors of the incumbent government.

    Earlier in the month of January this year,Minister for Education Shafqat Mahmood on had said a nationwide literacy campaign would soon be launched to increase the literacy rate by at least twelve percent in four years.

    “The literacy drive will envisage establishment of 5,000 adult literary and skill centers across the country,” Shafqat Mahmood said while talking to a delegation of a cellular company in Islamabad.
