The Career Services Office (CSO) in collaboration with the MBA Placement Office (MPO) organised, Qineqt Inc. Recruitment Drive 2014 for undergraduates and MBA students. They were hiring for various positions at the company.
The event started with a presentation by the Qineqt team followed by a recruitment test. Mr. Shehriyar, Financial Analyst at Qineqt started off by giving an introductory presentation about the company. He enlightened students about his experience as a financial analyst and working with diversified companies abroad. He also explained how the company is expanding globally and that it is an ideal platform for aspiring LUMS graduates to begin their careers.
Later Mr. Babar Din, Deputy CEO talked about how the company had grown exponentially into a digital financial media company that specialises in the creation and distribution of financial analysis and research for a global audience.
In the end, the Qineqt recruitment team conducted a 1.5 hour long written test which comprised of IQ, English, Finance (optional), and Marketing (optional) sections. Students were very excited and actively participated in the question and answer session and showed great interest in knowing more about the company.
