A 31-year-old man has been stabbed to death in a shop in the German city of Dusseldorf, according to local reports.
Police are hunting for the suspect, who is reportedly holed up in a nearby building.
A second man, aged 25, is thought to have been seriously injured.
He is in hospital, according to journalist Dirk Lotze.
Initial reports indicate the stabbing is not believed to be terror-related.
