A new strategy regarding Afghanistan is likely be announced soon by US President Donald Trump.
In this connection, Trump has called Security team and vice-president Mike Pence for deliberation regarding startegy of 16-year war.
The US President would consider different option regarding Afghan war beside this Pakistan’s role in ongoing war in Afghanistan would also be witnessed. As, US has been considering either to increase the number of soldiers or withdraw its all troops from Afghanistan.
At this moment, 8,400 US soldiers and nearly 5,000 NATO troops are deployed in Afghanistan. Pakistan and India would be included in formulating new strategy.
