  • Teenager arrested in India for 'Pakistan Zindabad' Facebook status

A teenager was arrested by police in Kishanganj district in Bihar, India on Friday for posting a pro-Pakistani status on Facebook, the NDTV reported.

Afsar Khan posted his photograph on the social networking website and captioned it “Pakistan Zindabad”.

Kishanganj Additional Superintendent of Police Rajiv Mishra said the police acted on complaints received from residents against the 15-year-old’s social media post. He said the residents had urged the police to arrest him for “hurting people’s sentiments”.

Earlier this month at least nine Kashmiri youths were arrested by Indian forces for taking pictures with Pakistani flags at the tourist resort Pahalgam in Indian-occupied Kashmir.
