Social media site Twitter has introduced 69 unique new emojis for its users so that they can express themselves in a better way.
The symbols have been released under version Emoji 5.0. Initially, the images will only be available to people using the browser version of Twitter whereas later they will be updated on smartphone software.]
The emojis include some weird and wonderful creations, from mermaids and ‘man fairy’ to flags of various countries, bringing the total amount of new icons available to 239.
The symbols are available immediately through the browser version of Twitter. But two most popular smartphone operating systems, Android and iOS, will have to be updated before they can be used in the Twitter app.
